THE PATH TO ETERNAL SUCCESS
Heal the cause not the effect. Thought is an effect, energy is
the cause.
Guide
to Eternal success
Our INTENTIONS make our CONSCIOUS MIND. The conscious mind
forms our DEEDS. Our deeds decide our
PRARABDHA (karma). Prarabdha designs our KUNDALINI (life
force), which gets reflected in our horoscope and forms our
PERSONALITY, which is an ELECTRO-CHEMICO-BIO SYSTEM. The
healthier this system, the stronger
will be our INTELLECT, CONFIDENCE and HEALTH. The stronger
these qualities, the better will be our SURROUNDINGS, which
decide our success or failure.
Success gives us BLISS and eventually leads us to HEAVEN;
whereas, failure gives us sorrow.
Q. I happen to hail from a traditional and well-off family
from Uttaranchal. We were doing quite well with our forest
resources and farming, when my son decided to shift to Delhi.
He succeeded considerably in making wealth and settling down
in Delhi with his wife and two kids. The elder was a boy who
studied in a convent and did very well to later join the
Massachusetts University in the United States. Following suit
his daughter also was sent to a boarding school. Now she has
come back to join a reputed college and we have also come to
stay with our son for a couple of months. I have noticed that
this girl deliberately dresses up provocatively and comes very
late at night with mixed genders. My son is a bit liberal but
my daughter-in-law tries to control her movements. But never
ever I have seen any young girl in our generation or of our
offspring to behave such rudely and rashly with elders. She
also threatens to move out if tried to be controlled. Me and
my wife are in a fix. I do not want to interfere in my son's
family matters. But our tradition running so deep and old in
my blood does not let me stay aloof. You had solved one grave
problem of one of my cousins. Please show me a way to help
this girl come back to living life in a civilized and
controlled manner.

A. There was a time when young
boys who would practise an austere lifestyle and concentrate
towards the higher values in life were considered ideal in
class. We had class monitors to lead the pack as role models
and inspire other students to follow suit.
Now things have changed drastically. Today most of the shy or
introvert types in school and especially colleges are
considered either coy, hypocrites or even with a rural
mindset.
However no human being or living being is self-destructive. If
you think that what this generation or some of them are doing
is right then you have to present it logically and you have to
understand what they want, which is happiness. Further our own
cultural conditionings sometimes come create what in our times
was known as generation gap.
However let’s see things form another perspective. Except for
a few cases, as we said, nobody wants unhappiness, ill health
or failure in life. then why do these kids act so weird, or
what seems weird to us. For this we have to see the changing
socio-cultural scenario as well. In generations of yours or
our times we had come out of a past—a past of labour for over
two hundred years to gain our independence. Memories of the
martyrs and great souls like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawahar
Lal Nehru, Bhagat Singh and so on were fresh in our culture.
Then came opening of the markets which brought employment and
plenty with it. But we can never blame our kids for their
overindulgence because they do not seem to have a philosophy
befitting their times. With money comes self-dependence, with
self dependence comes the habit of experimentation. And when
we experiment we sometimes succeed and sometimes fail. But of
course as parents we cannot see them taking a wrong turn. Here
we should do when we teach our kids how to ride a
bicycle—letting them experiment while we keep our support
ready. And what can be support—the positive ways of gaining
long lasting happiness and when they are learning helping them
keeping some inner cleansing happening. While this inner
cleansing can be taken care with gemstones and proper Vastu,
in this case she is advised to wear an emerald of premium
quality of 9 ½ ratti in the smallest finger of her right hand.
As far as Vastu is concerned a special care needs to be taken
at the North-east cornerIshanya Kona, apart from the other
intricacies of the actual place.
Q What is the rational
significance of Karaka (Factor) and Bhava (Houses) in an
individual's horoscope?
Vinay Agrawal, Mathura
A. This question is very
complex and deserves quite a large space to be discussed in
elucidation. However I have always maintained that the human
body is an electro-chemico-bio system the electrical part of
which gradually opens intot he world of vibrations. Just like
we have our energy centers called chakras similarly the
universe also has its subtle energy centers, which can be
broadly equated with the grahas for our realm. Depending upon
our karma our energies—either positive or negative get stored
in these cosmic subtle grids, which release their stored
vibrations in our forthcoming birth. Each energy grid (grahas)
and their permutations are specifically attached or associated
with one of our physical, mental, spiritual and eventual
(which shall include relationships and also surroundings like
vastu) aspects of existence.
